A home designed for a couple whose children have already left home, tailored to this new stage of life and the needs of later adulthood. The design emphasizes comfort, accessibility, and single-level living. Natural materials were incorporated into the façades, creating a modern yet warm appearance that blends with the rural surroundings. The interior spaces open to the expansive valley views through wide glass openings and a yard oriented toward the landscape. Window placements were carefully planned to frame the views while maintaining privacy from neighboring homes. An exposed concrete wall that extends from the exterior into the interior connects the inside and outside, emphasizing the architectural continuity between them.
